What a Week in June!

AJJ

What an amazing few days the AJJ Scholarship Fund has had! On Thursday, we presented two Hampton Bays High School students the prestigious AJJ award. For the first time ever, we awarded one extremely deserving student $15,000. This is the 23rd year that the Fund has given scholarships to outstanding students and we couldn't have done it without you. It is only through your continued support and generosity that the AJJ Scholarship Fund was able to present $30,000 to seven commendable students. Since 2002 we have awarded more than $400,000 to graduating seniors and to local community initiatives! We hope you will join us in congratulating Samantha, Emma, Thomas, Luke, Mikhail, Sarah and Stefanie, all of whom we feel epitomize Art's spirit as strong, well-rounded students, athletes and inclusive individuals. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the recipients and look forward to watching what their futures hold. We also want to thank everyone who applied for the scholarship this year; the selection process was highly competitive, and we were impressed by the quality and dedication of all the applicants. We wish everyone the best of luck in their college years and beyond! Meet this year's AJJ Scholarship winners:

Annual AJ Memorial Golf Outing

Friday was thankfully a perfect day for golf at Rock Hill Golf Club. We had a full field on the beautifully maintained course and more guests than ever for the cocktail and dinner party. It was heartwarming to see so many new faces and we are deeply appreciative of the presence, support and commitment of such an extraordinary group to our cause. Thanks to your generosity, we had another stellar year which will significantly impact our efforts of awarding college seniors on the South Fork of Long Island and also help to build our long term endowment. The day was a testament to the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together.  We're sure that Art was loving every minute of it! We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we enjoyed hosting it. Please congratulate the new recipients of the AJ Cup - Gerry Lynch, John Mangano, Sean Murphy and  Matt Mobius!
